2020 was the year for small weddings with intentional details that brought families closer together, to celebrate what truly matters. Chateau St. Jean is a versatile venues that offers a true destination wedding experience, an element our couple fell in love with. Deciding to have their wedding ceremony under an oak tree framed by the scenic Vally letting it speak for itself. When it came to adding a personal touch, Karen added a lush and vibrant bouquet from the talented Scarlett and Grace. We can easily label it as the most beautiful fall bouquet we have ever photographed. Seeing these two smile from ear to ear throughout their ceremony and giggling as they had their first dance in the vineyards truly reminded us that no matter the circumstances, your wedding is still as impactful and meaningful.

Our Approach

We were so lucky to return to Chateau St. Jean to document such a beautiful small wedding. Every time we photograph a wedding, no matter the size, I want to be able to tell the story that unfolded that day. From the highlights of the day to the stolen kisses, and tears of joy. But also, delicately lit locations that we map out and talk about before your wedding day. At Chateau St. Jean I knew K+J wanted to capture the essence of Napa, therefore we took our time exploring the grounds as the sun set creating the most romantic wedding portraits. You see, the ultimate goal is to always document moments that represent each individual couple in the way that is everlasting and romantic.
